The Electric Vehicle Technology Training program covers lectures, workshops and hands-on practice, consisting of 3 levels. Level 1 covers the fundamental principle of hybrid & electric vehicle technologies. Level 2 is an intermediate and level 3 is an advanced courses. Each level will be offered over 5 weeks.

The Certified Clean Tech Engineer (CCTE) is an intensive 13 week certificate program is designed to train a new generation of engineers highly skilled in the design and applications of renewable energy, process engineering and manufacturing of state of the art clean tech processes including: thin film photovoltaics, wind turbines, and nanomaterial batteries used in electric vehicles.

The Clean Tech Train theTrainer Program is a unique program offered to engineers, technical managers and professionals who wish to embark on a rewarding career of training others in the clean tech industry.
The training program is 12 weeks, in 2 parts:
Part 1: 8-weeks of intensive training in photovoltaic, thin film nanocomposte technology, wind energy, electric vehicle, advanced battery technology with hands-on workshops teaching techniques and how to become a trainer in the emerging clean tech industries.
Part 2: 4-week practice period enabling participants to give seminars and teach at the institute and other training organizations in the clean tech industries.
Next Training Date: September 3-October 22, 2011 on Saturdays only from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, followed by 4 week of training practice.
Location: at the Clean Tech Institute located in Fremont and at the NASA Ames Research Center.

The Renewable Energy for the Green Economy course is a 5 week introductory training program to equip those who wish to launch a new career in the industrial evolution, transforming from fossil fuel to the clean and renewable energy. The course highlights the solar photovoltaic energy generation, energy efficiency, LED lighting system, green LEED building and the new electric vehicle industry. The course includes lectures, guest lectures, and hands-on workshops which are taught by experienced instructors and seasoned renewable energy specialists in the industry.
