Train the Trainer Program

The Clean Tech Train the Trainer is unique program is offered to engineers, technical managers and professionals who wish to embark on a rewarding career of training others in the clean tech industry.

The training program is 12 weeks, in 2 parts:

Part 1: 8-weeks of intensive training in photovoltaic, thin film nanocomposte technology, wind energy, electric vehicle, advanced battery technology with hands-on workshops, teaching techniques and how to become a trainer.

Part 2: 4-week practice period enabling participants to give seminars and teach at the institute and other training organizations in the clean tech industries.

Next Training Date: October 23-Decemeber 18, Saturdays only from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This will be follwed by 4 week of practice and on-the job-training (January 8 to January 29, 2011)

Location: at the Clean Tech Institute located in Fremont and at the NASA Ames Research Center.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree required, Masters degree preferred.
  • 5 years of industry experience of related field
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills required
  • Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material
  • Experience in organizing and writing reports and presentations of a technical nature
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-through skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • A positive attitude and proactive team work approach in problem-solving

TUITION:

Total tuition is $3,995.00

Financing: $995.00 is payable upon enrollment, and the balance can be paid in installments over 12 months at 10% per annum.
